My voice was awful like a frog
For the first five years of classical singing in high school, I suffered from a terrible vocal problem that made me sound like a frog on certain notes.
“Tighten your stomach!”
“Open your mouth wider!”
My voice was getting worse and worse due to old school teaching.
Then I attended a summer seminar in Vienna that was only two weeks long. My voice problem improved dramatically and I learned the importance and potential of voice training.
After that, I was fascinated by jazz and tried to sing, but I realized that I could only sing jazz like opera style.
Why?
The answer came from Estill.
I met Estill in Berklee, America.
Estill knows all the answers that I wanted to know;
“What was I doing?”
“How to improve it?”
“What exercise should I do?”
My motivation is to do for my students what I wanted to do for me when I was in high school.
